Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), is a state-owned power distribution company in Pakistan, providing electricity to the residents of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Established in 1998 as a subsidiary of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), it is responsible for the maintenance and operation of a vast distribution network. It comprises of over 12,000 km of high tension and low tension lines and 260 substations. It also caters to an approximate of 1.8 million consumers.
